This work studies the nutritive evaluation of shrubby vegetation.(Erica arborea L. Quercus ilex L., Arbutus unedo L., Pistacia lentiscus L., Myrtus communis L., Phillyrea angustifolia L., as well the fruits of Q. ilex, Q; suber, A. unedo and Cistus sp.).by means of in vitro digestibility techniques, also the energetic content of the above cited plant species is determined. The maxiinun values reached in the seasonal evolution are ; arborea: 1.479 Kcal of metabolizable energy (ME)/Kg of dry matter; Q. ilex: 1.461 Kcal ME/Kg DM; A. unedo: 1.823 Kcal ME/Kg DM; P. lentiscus: 1.539 Kcal ME/Kg DM; M. cornrnunis: 1.863 Kcal ME/Kg DM; and P. angustifolia: 1.753 Kcal ME/Kg DM.
