Introduction to the study and evaluation of red deer (Cervus Elaphus L.) food resources in the Sierra Morena habitat. II. Evolution of crude nutritive principles

The author presents the seasonal evolution of the crude nutritive principles in some shrubby species of the climax vegetat:ion Durilignosa (Erica arborea L.,Quercurs ilex L., Arbutus unedo L., Pistacia lentiscus L., Mprtus connnunis L., and Phillvrea angustifolia L. as well as fruits of Quercus ilex, Quercus suber; Arbutus unedo and Cistus spp. The highest values for protein concentration were recorded in spring for heather (E. arborea) , (myrte, M. comnrunis), strawberry tree (A. unedo), oak (Q. ilex). and mock-privet (P. angustifolia) with 5.5 p. 100, 7.2 p. 100, 7.5 p. 100, 7.9 p. 100 and 10.2 p. 100 respectively, and in the autumn for lentiscus (P. lentiscus) with 9.7 p. 100.Se estudia la concentración de los principios nutritivos y la evolución estacional de diversas especies arbustivas de la vegetación climax Durilignosa (Erica arborea L., Quercus ilex L., Arbutus unedo L., Pistacia lentiscus L., Myrtus comunis L., y Phillirea angustifolia L. y de algunos frutos forestales (bellota de encina, bellota de alcornoque, fruto de Cistus spp). En los niveles de proteína hay que destacar que las concentraciones mas elevadas se encuentran, en primavera, en los ramones de brezo, arrayán, madroño, encina y labiérnago (5.5 p. 100, 7.2 p. 100, 7.5 p. 100 7.9 p. 1.00 y 10.2 p. 100, respectivamente); y en el otoño, en el lentisco (9.7 p. 100)
