This steamer was built as the "Manitoba" in 1871 at Port Robinson, Ont. and was the first steamer to enter harbor at Fort William, Ont. on Aug. 16, 1873. She was renamed "Carmona" in 1888 and ran with "Cambria" until 1891, operated by Owen Sound Co. from Owen Sound to Manitoulin Islands ports and the Soo. In 1895 she ran with the "Cambria" on the Windsor-Soo route. In 1900 the "Carmona" was lengthened at Collingwood, Ont. and renamed "Pittsburgh". As the "Pittsburgh", she became the first Canadian passenger steamer on the lakes excursions. She burned at her dock in Sandwich, Ont. on Aug. 13, 1903 and was dismantled
