Biomaterial functionalization is a promising strategy developed to favor material implantation in a living organism. The deposition of polyelectrolyte multilayer films is a useful functionalization technique to coat implants. These modified surfaces may then interact with their biological environment. In this work, we developed new collagen-based coatings and membranes, able to cover several kinds of substrates.
