International field studies have documented that indoor air quality is unsatisfactory in many buildings. The overall hypothesis of this project is that improving the indoor environment in dwellings can improve health and reduce suffering from indoor related diseases such as allergy and asthma that have shown a marked increase in incidence all around the world during last decades.The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of increased ventilation and expected lower exposure to house dust mites on symptoms and medication intake among asthmatic children.
