Perceived air quality indoors is currently investigated using human subjects. In the last few years gas sensor systems have been developed which try to mimic the human sense of smell. The systems are not able to evaluate perceived air quality directly. Thus the data measured by the sensor systems has to be mapped by data processing software to an air quality measure
