In this paper we describe how interdisciplinarity and transdisciplinarity have been approached in the Medialogyeducation at Aalborg University in Copenhagen. We discuss the role of the faculty members, and what are the criteriato establish that they achieve transdisciplinarity and what enables them. In particular, we examine the possibility ofhaving professionals which are both specialized in their field and also able to communicate and bridge towards otherdisciplines
