Wave Dragon is a wave energy converter of the overtopping type. The device has been thoroughly tested on a 1:51.8 scale model in wave laboratories and a 1:4.5 scale model deployed in Nissum Bredning, a large inland waterway in Denmark. Based on the experience gained a full scale, multi MW prototype is to be constructed and deployed in the North Sea (or other possible site) to validate the economic and technical feasibility of the device.Wave Dragon is a wave energy converter of the overtopping type.
