In this paper, results on the modal spectrum analysis of a Ridged Circular Waveguide (RCW) obtained with the Finite Element Method (FEM) are presented. The results obtained show that the RCW can be used in dual mode filters to eliminate the Tuning Screws unit traditionally required for this kind of hardware.European Space Agenc
