Estimation of Wave Conditions at Svåheia SSG Pilot Site

The purpose of the project described in the present report is to estimate the local wave conditions at the proposed location for a SSG pilot at the Svåheia site in the south western part of Norway. Focus is put on estimating the everyday conditions to enable an evaluation of the power production potential for the SSG pilot at the proposed location.The work in the project has been performed in three parts:1. Establishing the offshore wave conditions and bathymetry of the area.2. Transformation of offshore waves to near shore, through numerical wave modeling.3.
