In this paper a sensorless discrete current control of an Interior Permanent Magnet Synchrouns Motor (IPMSM) by voltage injection is designed and tested. The whole controller is operating in the dq-frame and for this reason the rotor position is essential to know, to transform between the stationary frame and the rotor xed dq-frame. To obtain the position even at standstill a sensorless scheme using voltage injection is added to the current controller.</p
