Objective: To identify in literature and education in allied health nursing practice can facilitate the process of nursing care in the hospital. Method: Integrative Review held in LILACS database. The inclusion criteria considered in full studies available in Portuguese, published in the last 10 years (2000 to 2010). Results: After reading and analyzing the articles were drawn up three thematic categories: Health education and nursing; Educating through the vertical model and horizontal, and the hospital.
