Case Studies in Tick Surveillance and Tickborne Disease Prevention

Tick-borne diseases\u2014such as Lyme disease, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, and Powassan encephalitis\u2014rarely capture national attention like the mosquito-borne Zika received in 2016. National surveillance data show that ticks cause more disease than mosquitoes.
