The objective of this research was to know if there is a relationship between self-esteem and addiction to social networks. The methodology used corresponds to a cross-sectional non-experimental research design. The type of study was descriptive –correlational. A sample of 82 adult participants chosen through the use of Google Forms surveys was used. The results obtained show that the gender distribution of the sample of 82 participants is 29 people for the male sex and 53 for the female sex, with the female sex being 64% of the sample.
