Desarrollo profesional como fuente de ventaja competitiva en las organizaciones

Professional development is a relevant issue in the organizational context, since through this the companies empower their emplo- yees to be more competitive. The objective of this research is to analyze the professional development of students and graduates who approach the work environment and how professional deve- lopment creates competitive advantages for the company. A quan- titative, non-experimental, transversal and descriptive method was used. The sample was not probabilistic, a total of 120 question- naires were collected that were applied directly to the indirect and administrative employees as subjects of study, in addition the cons- truct was measured with 9 items. The data was analyzed with the statistical tool SPSS. Among the results it is highlighted that the company trains students and graduates, for permanent change in daily activities, as well as opportunities for promotion and oppor- tunities for promotion.El desarrollo profesional es un tema relevante en el contexto or- ganizacional, ya que a través de este las empresas potencian a sus empleados para ser más competitivos. El objetivo de esta investi- gación fue analizar si el desarrollo profesional crea ventaja compe- titiva sostenible para la organización. Se utilizó un método de tipo cuantitativo, no experimental, transversal y descriptivo. La muestra fue no probabilística, se consideraron un total de 120 empleados que se encuentran cursando una carrera universitaria. Los datos fueron analizados con la herramienta estadística SPSS. Entre los resultados se destaca que la empresa capacita a los estudiantes y egresados para mejorar continuamente en las actividades cotidia- nas, además de promover oportunidades de crecimiento y posibi- lidades de ascenso, es de resaltar que al desarrollar competencias y habilidades, la organización contribuye directamente en el incre- mento de ventajas competitivas
