STIMULASI KECERDASAN SOSIAL EMOSIONAL ANAK MELALUI PENDEKATAN STEAM DI KOBER AL BANA

Early Childhood is a child who has a very high curiosity, in addition to a very high sense of curiosity, children always have the desire to try various ways to help themselves when facing problems in their daily environment. One of the intelligence of children that must be developed is emotional-social intelligence. One method that can be used to develop children's emotional-social intelligence is through the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) approach with the STEAM approach. In Kober Al Bana, it can be seen that children's social-emotional intelligence is still low, especially in group A due to lack of stimulus, teachers play more in the room, therefore this study aims to improve children's emotional-social intelligence with the STEAM approach. The technique of this research is observation with qualitative data analysis. Subjects that the researchers took were 10 children, namely 5 girls and 5 boys. To stimulate the emotional-social intelligence of the children, the researchers used the game of taking the ball in groups outside the room. With these play activities, the researchers got the final result of 90% of children's social-emotional increase.Anak Usia Dini sesungguhnya anak yang memiliki rasa ingin tahu yang sangat tinggi, disamping rasa kaingin tahuannya yang sangat tinggi anakpun selalu mempunyai keinginan  mencoba berbagai cara untuk menolong dirinya sendiri ketika menghadapi masalah dalam lingkungannya sehari-hari. Salah satu kecerdasan anak yang harus dikembangkan yaitu kecerdasan sosial emosional. Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan untuk mengembangkan kecerdasan sosial emosional anak yaitu melalui pendekatan STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)dengan pendekatan STEAM bisa dilakukan dengan cara bermain salah satunya adalah dengan permainan ambil bola secara berkelompok. Di Kober Al Bana terlihat kecerdasan sosial emosional anak masih rendah khususnya kelompok A karena kurangnya stimulus, guru bermain lebih banyak didalam ruangan, oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan sosial emosional anak dengan pendekatan STEAM. Teknik penelitian ini adalah observasi dengan analisis data kualitatif Subjeg yang peneliti ambil berjumlah 10 anak yaitu 5 anak perempuan dan 5 anak laki-laki, Untuk menstimulus kecerdasan sosial emosional anak peneliti menggunakan permainan ambil bola secara berkelompok di luar ruangan. Dengan kegiatan bermain tersebut peneliti mendapatkan hasil akhir 90% sosial emosional anak meningkat.Â
