Heather Neff is a highly-decorated professor of African American Literature, Women in Literature, and Poetry and Major Authors. Among a score of achievements, Neff has created the American Writers in Paris Program, has served as Director of the McNair Scholars Program at EMU, and has won numerous awards including the Distinguished Faculty Award for Teaching Excellence, the Outstanding Faculty Award, and the Teaching Excellence Award.https://commons.emich.edu/oral_histories/1133/thumbnail.jp
