The ability of Parkinson's disease (PD) patients to recognize symptoms and possess understanding about their condition is a crucial factor in achieving favorable treatment outcomes. This study aims to assess the level of symptom recognition, understanding and perception of PD among patients in one of the teaching hospitals in Klang Valley. A survey was conducted using the Knowledge and Perception of Parkinson's Disease Questionnaire (KPPDQ) among Parkinson's disease patients attending the Neurology Clinic in one of the teaching hospitals in Klang Valley.
