The initial and continuing education of teachers is fundamental in the process of developing Education for Ethnic-Racial Relations. In this sense, there is a need for qualification of education professionals so that they can develop an education that addresses ethnic-racial diversity. The objective of this research was to identify the treatment given to Education for Ethnic-Racial Relations in the initial teacher training courses of the Instituto Federal Goiano Campus Urutaí. For this, the methodology used was document analysis, and the application of questionnaires in which all the information was collected and analyzed in a qualitative-quantitative way.
