Background: Gingivitis is a dental and oral health problem caused by the bacteria Staphylococcus aureus. This research utilized the antibacterial effect of the chlorogenic acid compound content of green Arabica coffee beans (Coffea arabica L.) on the activity of the Staphylococcus aureus bacteria.
