Prints was an exhibition that was promoted as 'Masters from the Arts Council Collection, Hayward Gallery, London with work from a new generation of printmakers'. The exhibition was held at the Arts Institute in Bournemouth. It included work by thirteen artists, most notably Richard Hamilton, David Hockney and R.B Kitaj. All works explored ideas within traditional and contemporary print mediums. The research undertaken for this exhibition focused on the combination of traditional print processes with digital output. The work explored ideas of conflict, both through content and form. The outcome of the research combined etching, silkscreen and digital printing and culminated in two large-scale prints.
