AbstractThis paper investigates the effects of powder waste glass (PWG) at 10%, 15%, and 20 wt.% replacement of cement on the flow characteristic, setting time, compressive strength, water sorption, rate of the heat of hydration, cumulative heat of hydration; alkali-silica reaction (ASR), and microstructure characteristics of the resulting paste and mortar mixtures. A total of eight cementitious mixtures including two control mixtures have been investigated in this experimental program to evaluate the effect of PWG on the fresh and hardened state characteristics of paste and mortar mixtures.
