In Asian countries, Centella asiatica is exploited for abundant types of pharmacological activities due to the presence of opulent phytochemicals. Asiaticoside, madecassoside, and their sapogenin triterpene acids such as asiatic acid and madecassic acid are the most noticeable triterpenes present in C. asiatica.
