Political socialization is crucial for novice voters, because novice voters are very susceptible to being influenced by various issues in determining political choices. This article aims to find out the form of socialization by the Solok Regency KPU for beginner voters in the 2020 Pilkada activities in Solok Regency for beginner voters. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The political outreach carried out by the Solok Regency KPU in socializing the 2020 Pilkada is through the official website of the Solok Regency KPU, Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and Youtube Solok Regency KPU, KPU Goes To School or KPU Goes To Campus as well as direct visit services to the Regency KPU office. There are several obstacles in this socialization activity, including lack of human resources, limited budget, limitations due to the Covid-19 pandemic, interest in reading by novice voters and access to schools where socialization will be provided is quite far.
