International audienceOn the basis of an ethical questioning, this research studies the consideration of disability in education, precisely through the experiences of young people with cognitive disabilities aged 10 to 18. Twenty-seven students participated in this study, which was conducted using biographical accounts. They were enrolled in a so-called “ordinary” school, a localized unit for inclusive education (ULIS) or a medico-educational institute (IME). The study found that 14 of the youths interviewed felt a real“sense of justice” (they think to have been personally considered and treated appropriately), but 13 of the participants felt that they had been treated unfairly, at least in part.
