International audienceNovelization, which refers to a novel adaptation of a work created for another medium (such as film, TV series or video game), is a transmedial practice which shows how the visual dimension impacts the circulation and diffusion of popular fictions and how it now plays a leading role in the way we mentally build imaginary fictional worlds.
