This paper analyses the factors that led the migrants from Haitian origin, refugees in the “El Fandango” shelter in Ciudad Acuña, Coahuila, to make the decision to travel alone or accompanied to Mexico, considering that most of them have lived in Chile or Brazil for a long period of time, countries from which mainly for economic reasons they have emigrated again (Metzner, 2014). The results are the product of a survey conducted on September 28, 2021. Using a logistic regression model, it classified if a migrant travel alone or accompanied based on a series of explanatory variables.
