La cerámica de Morro de Eten en el norte peruano: una aproximación crono-estilística

This article presents a chrono-stylistic approach to ceramics from Morro de Eten, which was discussed as exclusive to the Late Formative. Based on a stylistic characterization combined with the comparison criterion by similarity, the existence of ceramics linked to the Middle Formative B (1000 - 800 B.C.), Late Formative A (800 - 700 B.C.) and Late Formative B ( 700 – 550 B.C.). In this way, three stylistic phases are established that indicate the prolonged occupation of the site with various types of ceramics, whose shared parallels would be manifesting the complex mechanisms of social interaction in which the inhabitants of Morro de Eten were involved during the Middle and Late Formative. En este artículo se presenta una aproximación crono-estilística de la cerámica de Morro de Eten, la cual fue discutida como exclusiva del Formativo Tardío. Sobre la base de una caracterización estilística combinada con el criterio de comparación por parecido, se pone de manifiesto la existencia de cerámica vinculada al Formativo Medio B (1000 – 800 a.C.), Formativo Tardío A (800 – 700 a.C.) y Formativo Tardío B (700 – 550 a.C.). De esta manera, se establecen tres fases estilísticas que indican la ocupación prolongada del sitio con diversos tipos de cerámica, cuyos paralelos compartidos estarían manifestando los complejos mecanismos de interacción social en las que estuvieron involucrados los habitantes de Morro de Eten durante el Formativo Medio y Tardío
