The objective of this study was to design and implement a methodology based on digital transformation within a short period of time that allows SMEs in the asset-light logistics sector in Peru to increase their competitiveness. A mixed research approach with an exploratory sequential, observational and experimental design was used. The study population was 750 SMEs with a sample of 255 companies obtained through stratified probabilistic sampling. The inclusion criteria included having well-defined competitive strategies, a minimum of one year of operation, and postal code and operating license.
