BENEFÍCIOS DA ENTREVISTA MOTIVACIONAL NA MINIMIZAÇÃO/CESSAÇÃO DO CONSUMO DE SUBSTÂNCIAS QUÍMICAS PARA DEPENDENTES: UMA ANÁLISE SISTEMÁTICA

Chemical dependence is a public health problem that has been growing over the years around the world. The harmful use of drugs has become increasingly common in the current scenario and motivation has been identified as a key factor for changing destructive attitudes. With this, the motivational interview is seen as the most elaborate method when referring to the treatment of chemical dependents through motivation. Therefore, the objective of this study is to understand the relevance of motivational interviewing in the treatment of chemical dependence. For this, the method of systematic review was adopted using the following databases: VHL, Dialnet and Pubmed. During the systematization, 9 studies were selected that addressed the demand objectified in this writing. Through data analysis it was found that the motivational interview has satisfactory results in the reduction/cessation of drug consumption. The management of this tool becomes essential to work with this growing demand in society.A dependência química é um problema de saúde pública que vem crescendo com o passar dos anos em todo o mundo. O uso nocivo das drogas tem se tornado cada vez mais comum no cenário atual e a motivação tem sido apontada como um fator primordial para a mudança de atitudes destrutivas. Com isso, a entrevista motivacional é vista como o método mais elaborado quando se refere ao tratamento de dependentes químicos através da motivação. Sendo assim, o objetivo deste estudo é compreender a relevância da entrevista motivacional no tratamento da dependência química. Para isso, foi adotado o método de revisão sistemática utilizando as bases de dados: BVS, Dialnet e Pubmed entre 2017-2022. Durante a sistematização foram selecionados 9 estudos, que abordavam a demanda objetivada neste escrito. Através da análise de dados, constatou-se que a entrevista motivacional tem resultados satisfatórios na diminuição/cessação do consumo de drogas. Torna-se essencial, portanto, o manejo dessa ferramenta para se trabalhar essa demanda crescente na sociedade.&nbsp
