Data of GWAS in pearl millet

Pearl millet (Pennisetum glaucum (L.) R. BR.) is a cereal crop mainly grown in India and sub-Saharan Africa. In pearl millet, genomic regions and genes associated with traits are largely unknown. We assessed 16 traits of pearl millet elite lines with field trials in Japan: awn growth (AG), culm height (CH), culm thickness (CT), days to anther emergence (DA), days to booting (DB), days to panicle emergence (DP), disease symptoms of leaves (DS), leaf curliness (LC), lodging (LO), milligrams per seed (MS), panicle length (PL), panicle width (PW), pigmentation of nodes (PN), pigmentation of the shoot basal part (PS), plant height at 45 days after sowing (PH45) and vigor in the vegetative stage (VI). We performed a genome-wide association study (GWAS) to identify the genomic regions and genes associated with those traits and Manhattan plots were drawn for the results of the GWAS.
