Renal blood flow (RBF) decreases in older adults, but massage can increase blood flow. This study looked at the immediate effects of Thai foot massage (TFM) on RBF, stress, and heart rate variability (HRV) in older adults. Twenty six healthy older adults were divided into a TFM group and a control group. The TFM group received a fifteen-minute Thai foot massage, while the control group rested in bed for 15 minutes. RBF and HRV parameters were measured after each intervention. Volumetric arterial blood flow (VF) significantly increased after TFM, and the stress index significantly reduced. Parasympathetic activity also increased in the TFM group.</p
