An <i>S</i>. <i>pombe tan1Δ rpl502Δ</i> suppressor does not rescue the tRNA^Leu(AAG) decay observed in <i>tan1Δ</i> mutants after growth in SD–Leu media and only minimally inhibits the modest GAAC activation.
