Such devices help decrease the spreading of diseases and offer the possibility of a suitable treatment. The requirements consist of being rapid, simple, portable, and inexpensive. Electrochemical detection can improve the outcome of such devices by delivering the exact concentration of the tested analyte, which can positively impact the patient's treatment.
