KOMPARASI HASIL PEMBELAJARAN KALIGRAFI ANTARA ONLINE DAN OFFLINE DI PESANTREN SAKAL

The problem faced by students is the difficulty in writing Arabic correctly and effectively, as they believe that writing skills are merely a talent. This research aims to compare the learning outcomes of students in calligraphy between online and offline learning. The study adopts a qualitative method and field research design, conducted at Pesantren SAKAL in Jombang, East Java. The data sources for this research include SAKAL students participating in both offline and online classes, as well as SAKAL instructors. Data collection is done through observation, documentation, and interviews, which are then analyzed using a narrative method. The researcher's findings indicate that online Arabic writing learning using platforms like G-Mail and WhatsApp can be a solution for students who want to learn Arabic writing but face challenges such as distance and circumstances that prevent in-person learning.
