This dissertation inspected decision-making under high-velocity conditions in three manuscripts. First, it investigated how decision processes and firm strategy evolve when a low-velocity industry is met with high-velocity stimulus. Second, it investigated the results of task-technology misfit on decisionmaking under high-velocity conditions. Finally, it investigated high-velocity decision support system requirements, proposing a high-velocity decision support system evaluation framework. Key Words: Decision-making, task-technology fit, faithful appropriation, over-appropriation, trust, decision quality, performance outcomes, grounded theory
