Water flows uniformly along a tube, with sensing tubes connected along the flow tube at equal intervals, as shown in Figure 1. The height to which the water rises in the sensing tubes is a measure of the pressure in the tube at those points. The pressure decreases uniformly along the tube, as can be seen on the video and in Figure 1. A faster flow creates a larger pressure differential along the tube, but the pressure drop is still uniform along the length of the tube
