There is a growing demand for highly reflective coatings especially on non-conducting surfaces for use in various industries. Additionally, focus is arising on green production and cost reduction in terms of energy, time, etc., which require detailed investigation of coating process parameters. Therefore, in this work, silver thin films with high reflectance were synthesized on glass substrates in short durations at room temperature by electroless plating (ELP) method in one-step and without using any additives.
