Musik klasik dan daya ingat jangka pendek pada remaja

Listening to classical music will make a relax condition as long as stimulate and manage the brain’s condition to concentrate, this condition is very good to use in learning activities. This research intend to find out the effect of classical music strain for short-term memory in teens. The research method is experiment with the pretest-posttest control group design, subjects were divided into two groups with details the experimental group heard classical music during memorizing meaningless syllables activities whereas for the control group are not heard classical music at the time memorizing meaningless syllables activities. Subjects in this research were 20 students of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang by category teens and average IQ. The data were analyzed with non-parametric test method independent sample t-test. The results is classical music was not significant effect for short-term memory in teens
