Efecto de diferentes bioles, obtenidos a partir de halófitas, en la germinación y crecimiento de cuatro variedades de hortalizas: Germinación de hortalizas con biol

The objective of this research was to evaluate the effect of different liquid digestates produced from halophyte plants on germination and emergence capacity of four types of vegetables under in vitro conditions. The bioassays were conducted in a germination chamber, at 25 °C and 65% relative humidity for five days. The study tested 76 treatments, obtained by combining six products (liquid digestates), four species (seeds), three concentrations of liquid digestates (5, 10 and 20%) and one control treatment with distilled water for each of the species. In all the horticultural seeds evaluated, significant reductions (p ≤ 0.05) were observed in the relative germination percentage, relative radicle growth, germination index and the total length of the seedlings, relative to the controls as the established digestates concentrations increased; these were T6 (S. verrucosum liquid digestate), T4 (H. Curassavicum liquid digestate) and T5 (F. trinervia liquid digestate), which showed the lowest levels of germination and emergence in general. However, in all the seeds, with the use of liquid digestate concentrations at 5% through the different established treatments, no levels of phytotoxicity were observed, as they achieved germination percentages higher tan 85.55%.El objetivo de esta investigación fue evaluar el efecto de diferentes bioles producidos a partir de plantas halófitas, en la germinación y emergencia de cuatro tipos de hortalizas en condiciones in vitro. Los bioensayos se realizaron en una cámara de germinación, a 25 °C y 65% de humedad relativa durante cinco días. El estudio probó 76 tratamientos, obtenidos a partir de la combinación de seis bioles, cuatro especies vegetales (semillas), tres concentraciones de biol (5, 10 y 20%), y un tratamiento control usando agua destilada estéril, para cada una de las especies. En todas las semillas hortícolas evaluadas se observaron reducciones significativas (p ≤ 0.05) en el porcentaje relativo de germinación, crecimiento relativo de la radícula, índice de germinación y longitud total de las plántulas, con relación a los testigos a medida que aumentaban las concentraciones de biol establecidas; fueron el T6 (biol de S. verrucosum), T4 (biol de H. Curassavicum) y T5 (biol de F. trinervia) los que mostraron los niveles más bajos de germinación y emergencia en general. Sin embargo, en todas las semillas, con el uso de concentraciones de biol al 5%, no se observaron niveles de fitotoxicidad, ya que alcanzaron porcentajes de germinación superiores al 85.55%
