DAMPAK NEGATIF PENGGUNAAN GADGET PADA PERILAKU SOSIAL ANAK DI SEKOLAH DASAR

The importance of this research is because there are problems that occur, especially regarding the influence of gadget use on children's social behavior, such as parents who are more likely to silence their children by using gadgets, children who use gadgets excessively. So ultimately it has an impact on children's social behavior which can reduce children's interest in other activities, prevent children from paying attention when playing with gadgets, and affect children's social interactions. The aim of this research is that researchers want to find out more about the negative impact of using gadgets on children's social behavior. Primary data sources obtained by researchers through interviews, observation and documentation. Researchers interviewed teachers at SDN 006 Pangkalan Kerinci, parents and several students involved in this research. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation and documentation. The validity of the data was tested using 3 triangulations, namely source, technique and time triangulation. Data analysis uses the Miles & Huberman technique which includes stages of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that at SD Negeri 006 Pangkalan Kerinci, the impact of gadget use on children's social behavior initially experienced ambiguous changes, but teachers were able to overcome the existing problems by carrying out repeated habits to reshape children's good social behavior by collaborating with the role of the child's parents as well
