PELAKSANAAN PEMBINAAN KEPRIBADIAN PADA NARAPIDANA DI LEMBAGA PEMASYARAKATAN PEREMPUAN KELAS III MATARAM

This research aims to describe the implementation of personality development for female prisoners at the Class III Mataram Women's Correctional Institution and the supporting factors that influence the implementation of personality development for female prisoners at the Class III Mataram Women's Correctional Institution. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The data collection techniques used were interview, observation and documentation techniques. Subjects in this research were determined based on various criteria. The collected data was analyzed descriptively through data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this research show that there is implementation of personality development for prisoners in Class III Mataram Women's Prison. The activities implemented in prisons are specifically personality development with activity programs such as: Devotion to Almighty God, National and State Awareness, Intellectuals, Attitudes and Behavior, and Legal Awareness. Supporting factors are divided into two, namely internal and external, internal factors consist of infrastructure facilities, human resources, attitudes of prisoners, quality of personality development programs. Meanwhile, external factors are cooperative relationships with other agencies. The benefits of research contribute to legal thinking for law enforcement in imposing sentences on women. With the problems above, it can be concluded that the training of female prisoners is carried out in stages so that prisoners understand and are aware w    hile serving their sentences
