PEMANFAATAN YOUTUBE SEBAGAI MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN MENYIMAK CERITA RAKYAT BAGI SISWA KELAS V DI SD NEGERI BONISARI I KABUPATEN TANGERANG

Students' difficulties in learning to listen and the lack of optimal teachers in using YouTube learning media are important problems that must be studied. This study aims to explain the utilization of YouTube as a learning media for listening to folklore for fifth grade students at SD Negeri Bonisari I, Tangerang Regency. This type of research is qualitative using descriptive method. Data were obtained from observations as well as student and teacher interviews. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman approach which consists of three stages, namely simplifying the data, presenting the data, and making conclusions. The data validity test includes credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The findings of the study show that using YouTube as a listening learning tool can be very beneficial for students and teachers. Students show a high spirit of enthusiasm and activeness when learning to listen to folklore through YouTube. The percentage results show that 88.37%, namely 38 out of 43 fifth grade students managed to rewrite their simulations well. YouTube can make it easier for students to retell the stories they have listened to. This research makes an important contribution to teachers and students that YouTube is a comprehensive, effective and interesting learning tool. On the other hand, teachers also need to supervise students when they access YouTube freely in class
