The objective of this study was to analyze perceptions regarding participation in physical education of a student with a disability and his family member. A semi-structured interview script was used for data collection. The study included an individual with a physical disability who recently attended school, along with their mother. As a result, it was possible to identify, through the reports, the student’s participation in most activities, contributing to the improvement of relationships with your classmates, as well as the development of a sense of belonging and autonomy.
