Hubungan Asupan Karbohidrat dan Aktivitas Fisik dengan Kadar Glukosa Darah Puasa Penderita Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a collection of metabolic diseases characterized by hyperglycemia due to damage to insulin secretion, insulin performance, or both. Dibetes mellitus disease is closely related to blood glucose levels, especially in type 2 Diabetes mellitus, Type 2 Diabetes mellitus is a condition when blood sugar in the body is not controlled due to impaired sensitivity of pancreatic cells to produce the hormone insulin. This study aims to determine the relationship between carbohydrate intake and physical activity with blood glucose levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. This study is an analytical descriptive study with a cross sectional approach, the response of this study was type 2 diabetes mellitus patients in Puakesmas Puuwati, Kendari City, which obtained a total of 31 case responses. The response retrieval technique uses purposive sampling, while the statistical test used is the Chi-square test. The results of this study showed that most of the 61.3% of respoden carbohydrate intake was in the deficient category. 54.8% of the physical activity of the respondents was in the sufficient category and 58.1% of the nutritional status of the respondents was in the normal category. There was no relationship between carbohydrate intake (p = 0.595), physical activity (p = 0.406) with blood glucose levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus at Puuwatu Health Center in Kendari city.Diabetes Melitus (DM) merupakan kumpulan penyakit metabolik yang ditandai dengan hiperglikemi akibat kerusakan sekresi insulin, kinerja insulin, atau keduanya. Penyakit dibetes melitus sangat erat kaitannya dengan kadar glukosa darah terutama pada Diabetes melitus tipe 2, Diabetes melitus tipe 2 adalah kondisi saat gula darah dalam tubuh tidak terkontrol akibat gangguan sensitivitas sel pankreas untuk menghasilkan hormon insulin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan asupan karbohidrat dan aktifitas fisik dengan kadar glukosa darah pada penderita diabetes melitus tipe 2. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional, respoden penelitian ini adalah pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 di Puakesmas Puuwati, Kota Kendari, yang didapatkan jumlah respoden kasus sebanyak 31. Teknik pengambilan respoden menggunakan yaitu purposive sampling, sedangkan uji statistik yang di gunakan yaitu uji Chi-square. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa sebagian besar 61,3% asupan karbohidrat respoden berada pada kategori kurang. 54,8% aktivitas fisik respoden berada pada kategori cukup dan 58,1% status gizi respoden berada pada kategori normal. Tidak terdapat hubungan antara asupan karbohidrat ( p = 0,595), aktivitas fisik (p = 0,406)dengan kadar glukosa darah pada penderita diabetes mellitus tipe 2 di Puskesmas Puuwatu kota kendari
