Fosfor ve azot içeren vinil imidazole ve vinil fosforik asit monomerlerinin çözücü kullanmadan kütle polimerizasyon yöntemi sentezi ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Monomerlerin reaksiyon koşullarını ve başlatıcı oranlarını makalelerden yardım alınarak belirlenmiştir. Kumaştaki tutuşma süresi göz önüne alınarak farklı miktarlarda güç tutuşur polimer içeren solüsyonlar hazırlanmıştır. Güç tutuşur polimerin kumaş üzerindeki maksimum kendini sönümleme etkinliğini saptamak için farklı sıcaklık, derişim ve fiksatör denemeleri yapılarak deney optimizasyonu belirlendi.
