Bazı kanser türlerinde yatkınlık ile Faz II detoksifikasyon reaksiyonlarında yer alan Glutatyon-S-Transferaz(GST) enzimi genlerinin polimorfizmleri arasında ilişki gösterilmiştir. Bu çalışmada, kronik myeloid lösemi (KML) gelişimin ile GSTP1 (lle105Val) gen polimorfizmi arasındaki ilişkiyi araştırmayı amaçladık.Çalışmamıza KML tanısı almış 71 hasta ve herhangi bir kanser hikayesi olmayan 67 kişi alındı.
