The aim of this study was to examine the leptospirosis zoonotic epidemiology in the provinces of Manabí and Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas, located in Ecuador's Central Coast Region, between 2019-2023. The Ministry of Public Health, Zone 4 database contains the confirmed leptospirosis cases in the research area (26 cantons), as determined using a retrospective descriptive technique. According to the primary findings, 2023 had the highest number of infections, 115 cases, recorded. With 59 cases submitted overall, the Portoviejo canton was the most active.The parish most impacted by this zoonosis was Abdón Calderón, where 24 cases have been reported in the last three years.
