Hadith And Technological Challenges In The Contemporary Era

This research identifies the ways in which hadiths are interpreted and applied in the diverse social and cultural contexts of today in response to social and technological changes. The study outlines how religious education can adapt to technological advancements, the necessity of supervision and regulation to address ethical issues, and the importance of using technology as an effective tool for religious outreach. This research also underscores the importance of interfaith dialogue and an inclusive approach in understanding the role of hadiths in addressing technological challenges in the contemporary era. The research method employed is a qualitative approach, collecting data through literature studies and document analysis related to hadiths and technology usage. The collected data is thematically analyzed to identify trends, ethical issues, and the role of religious leaders in guiding the Muslim community in facing technological challenges. The research findings emphasize the need for religious education to adapt to technological developments, the necessity of supervision and regulation to address ethical issues, and the significance of utilizing technology as an effective tool for religious outreach.The contemporary era is characterized by very rapid technological development. Hadith can be interpreted and applied in diverse social and cultural contexts to address today's social and technological changes. This research outlines how hadith can integrate into the digital information age that is very fast and rapid, How hadith overcomes the impact of technology, such as ethical discrepancies and moral problems that arise in cyberspace, and how the role of religious leaders, scholars, or religious figures in dealing with technological challenges to hadith in contemporary society. The research method we use is a qualitative approach by collecting data through literature studies and analysis of documents related to hadith and the use of technology. The collected data is analyzed thematically to identify trends, ethical issues, and the role of hadith and ulama figures in guiding Muslims to face technological challenges. The results of this study outline that appropriate education, supervision, and regulation need to be applied to ensure that the use of technology in the context of hadith remains in line with religious values and ethical principles so that this religious heritage can be adequately preserved and passed on in an increasingly digitally connected contemporary society
