Performing Total Knee Replacement (TKR) surgery using computer assisted navigation systems results in more reproducibly accurate component alignment. Navigation allows real time evaluation of passive knee behaviour throughout flexion. These kinematic measurements reflect tibial rotation about the femoral condyles, patellar tracking and soft tissue balance throughout surgery.
